Speaker Sessions
The insurance industry is starting to embrace Blockchain as a technology that enables ecosystems of value to increase transparency and efficiency by helping to synchronise and automate contractual relationships and the transfer of value and information. But what comes after that?
This futuristic session will look beyond current initiatives and discuss a future in which risk may be autonomously assessed and placed, where identity solutions and distributed data will challenge our current models and analytics, and where the risk-to-capital-journey gets significantly streamlined.
ChainThat has built applications across the insurance value chain and during the session they will be doing a live demonstration of their solutions covering complex claims agreement linked with accounting and settlement.
This will be followed by a perspective from David on how ChainThat approaches the concept of partnering with complementary organisations using B3i as an example to illustrate how this could work in practice. This is an important element of B3i’s philosophy to bring solutions to the network reinforcing its ethos of “by the market for the market”.
